The Biotron Laboratory is located at 2115 Observatory Drive on the west end of UW-Madison campus, near the School of Veterinary Medicine and the Natatorium. The Biotron is served by the campus Route 80 bus at stop ID #2267 (eastbound) and #2442 (westbound). Check Madison Metro Transit for routes and schedules.


The Biotron is a secure-access building. Visitors are welcome during normal working hours of 7:45 am - 4:45 pm on weekdays. Visitors should use the intercom phone at the front entrance on Observatory Drive to request entry. Users are granted card access for all-hours access during research projects.


Visitor and permit parking is available in Lot 59 on the west side of the building. Enter Lot 59 from Observatory Drive. Visitors may use the 4 metered stalls in the middle of the lot, or may purchase half-day or full-day permits from UW Transportation Services in the the nearby WARF building.
